Benefits of Our PPEC Nursing Care
A child who is eligible for PPEC nursing services can participate for up to 12 hours per day, receive free transportation to and from the facility, and get specialized case management and care. All of the aforementioned PPEC nursing services replace all in-home nursing care, allowing for more socialization with other children. We assist those who are eligible for PPEC nursing services, including those who require nurses to administer medication (such as insulin or injections), tracheostomy and gastrointestinal tube cleaning and feeding, as well as preterm infants who run the risk of experiencing developmental issues. At Children’s Rehab PPEC, we have a baby room with cribs, where babies are watched and monitored at all times. We provide care for children who have hematologic diseases, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, post-transplant, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and metabolic issues. We recognize the value of ongoing treatment for our PPEC patients. That is why we are open on Saturdays, after school until 6 p.m., and provide services up to 12 hours a day.
