Occupational Therapy for PPEC Patients
At Children’s Rehab, we understand that each child has unique needs and requires individualized care to thrive. That’s why we are proud to offer Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) or PPEC occupational therapy services as a comprehensive solution for children with medically complex conditions. Established in 1991, Children’s Rehab is a PPEC medical daycare facility that specializes in providing holistic care to children with complex medical needs. Included in the holistic care we provide to our patients is our occupational therapy service. Our comprehensive structure designed for our PPEC-qualified children includes additional therapies as well, such as speech therapy, physical therapy, and more. Occupational therapy and others are also offered to the public as standalone care for children who do not need PPEC care. PPEC is a type of medical daycare that provides nursing care and therapy services to medically complex children in a structured environment. In Florida, PPEC facilities are regulated by the state and must meet strict requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care. At Children’s Rehab, we go above and beyond to meet and exceed these requirements.
